This Bordeaux (Meritage) blend includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot & Cabernet Franc. The Landry’s are people of the Bayou state making this blend quite fitting as it is a blend of two words, Bayou and Heritage. Barrel-aged 1 year.

Bayoutage Red Blend pairs beautifully with bold, flavorful dishes that complement its robust structure and complex layers. The blend’s dark berry notes, peppery spice, and smooth oak finish make it a natural match for grilled steaks, smoked brisket, or herb-crusted lamb. Its softness from Merlot and depth from Malbec and Petite Verdot also work well with roasted pork, beef stew, and rich mushroom-based dishes. For cheese pairings, try aged cheddar, Manchego, or blue cheese, and for pasta, it shines alongside Bolognese, lasagna, or creamy mushroom fettuccine.

These Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were carefully selected and hand-picked by the Colavita family in California, then shipped to Landry Vineyards in Louisiana, where the wine was thoughtfully handcrafted and bottled. This 2021 vintage is a robust, dry red wine with a soft tannin structure and medium acidity. It offers rich, dark fruit aromas and medium-high fruit flavors, balanced by a gentle, light oak finish. The result is a smooth, approachable Cabernet Sauvignon with depth and character.

Let the wine breathe for 15–30 minutes and serve slightly below room temperature (around 60–65°F) to let the wine’s balance of fruit, spice, and oak truly shine.
